Character Name: Jack Dawson
Character Age: 20
Physical Description or Celebrity Claim: Leonardo DiCaprio
Class (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or Crew): 3rd
Strengths (at least 3):
Weaknesses (at least 3):
Personality: Jack is a lovable person. He is nice to anyone he meets and he is not afraid to be blunt. He doesn't care what status he is in, because he thinks that people are just people and they shouldn't be classified based on how much money they have. It does not matter which class a person is in, Jack will treat them with respect and like a normal person.
Jack is also carefree. He does not let life's worries get in the way of what he wants to do. If he wants something, he goes after it despite what anyone tells him. He doesn't like when people tell him he can't do something because Jack will go try to prove them different. He believes that anyone can do anything they set their mind to.
History: Born in 1892 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin USA, Jack's parents died when he was very young. From a young age, Jack was pretty much on his own and had to find a way to survive. Drawing had always been one of his passions and he started to draw for money. Although he was extremely talented and continued to better his talent, just drawing was not enough.
He learned how to play poker and became extremely good at it. It was an easy way to get money and it helped him get along. During his life, Jack traveled well and met Fabrizio Di Rossi, an Italian, along the way. The two became pretty good friends, fast.
One day, the two ended up in England. Jack enjoyed his time there, however he did want to head back to America. The only way to head back to America would have been the R.M.S. Titantic and neither of them had tickets. Much to Jack's luck there was a poker game going on with two third class tickets at stake. Joining the game, Jack easily won and grabbed the tickets, just barely making it to the ship on time.
RP Sample: Jack looked between the men sitting at the table. A red-headed Irishman across from him, two Englishmen diagonal from him, Fabrizio to his left, and a Scotsman to his right. He glanced at each of them intensely before he glanced back down to his cards. In his hand, he held the ace of spades and the ace of hearts. As the Irishman started to flip cards over, Jack hid his grin. Bluffing was the name of the game when it came to poker and Jack was not about to give away that he could more than likely win easily.
Each man started to flip his cards over. When it finally reached Jack, he kept his face solemn as if he was going to lose. Slowly he flipped his own cards over. The red and black ace showed on the table, and a grin spread over Jack's face. "Sorry boys," he said, "looks like its my lucky day." He reached in the middle of the table and started to collect his winnings. "Aye, I think we should play 'nother round," said one of the Englishmen. "Really? And what do you think that you're going to play with Sims? Clothes? I don't really think that I would want to see any of that," Jack joked. All the men at the table started to laugh. "I'll see you boys tomorrow. Thanks for the money by the way."
Jack tapped Fabrizo's shoulder and they left. As always, Jack gave his friend some of his earnings. "Well, I think today has been a good day," he said smiling and holding his jacket over one shoulder. "Easy for you to say," Fabrizo mumbled laughing.
